Update
The solution I propose does not work. Problem is actually in the way Rails does reloading in development mode (Ticket for this problem). Currently it seems unsolved, but fortunately only affects development mode. Restarting the server helps sometimes.
I updated a Rails app to 2.2.2 version and bumped into a problem with ar_mailer (latest version 1.3.1). When trying to send email, it threw an error like this:
Is it a tick? Is it a wire, or a bonfire? We dont know, you tells us. We love cats. Vesa loves dogs and his computer. But so does Antti. Two partners in crime.

Sometimes you need to get a local copy of a website, for example when you need to do quick frontend testing without a development environment. OSX has a nice little program called WebGrabber for saving websites to your machine. It keeps the directory structure clean without any extra fluff.

We were number 6 in the RailsRumble 2008 competition. Our team consisted of us Wiretickers(Antti and Vesa) and our fellow schoolmate Ville Ikonen. I was the Rails guy, Antti was the HTML, CSS and shininess guy, and Ville was the JavaScript guy.

Star Wreck Studios Ltd where I am the lead developer went and won Mindtrek Grand Prix 2008 with our movie production community site Wreck A Movie. The price is awarded to most significant new Finnish digital media product or service.
Wreck A Movie was also elected as Finlands nominee for World Summit Award 2009 in e-Culture and Heritage category.

Readwriteweb wrote an interesting article about RSS called Seven Tips for Making the Most of Your RSS Reader. To me that brought new ideas of how this push-content can work in your favor.
